Learn More About Children's Home For Life

Children's Home For Life is a nonprofit organization that has been helping disadvantaged and neglected kids to take back control of their life. We have a residential treatment facility along with A.C.E. curriculum schooling. Our organization was founded in 2011.

We opened our first outreach center in Jonesboro, Arkansas in December 2012. Our work began with the Craighead, Greene and Poinsett County District Court and Judges, to provide services for their juvenile departments. We created and implemented numerous programs for the courts, including our EOP program with equine-assisted therapy, Drug Court program and community service weekends. In 2014, we opened our second outreach center in Brookland, AR. We began providing summer programs, school programs and even started our own A.C.E.-accredited school. Our foundation's program allows students, ranch kids and kids from around the region, ages 8-18, to learn about horticulture, animal science, carpentry, plumbing, home economics and mechanics.

We had also paired with Families Inc. counseling services to allow therapy groups to come to our facilities. They worked closely with our staff and animals in order to associate and work with the children.

•     Since 2012, we have had over 600 children come to the ranch, either through our court programs or as

           volunteers

•     We hold a 91% success rate for our drug and rehab classes, i.e. kids who have completed the 12-

           week course have not gone back to previous drug habits

•     Our EOP and Drug Court classes have been provided to the families at an extremely discounted rate

           per class, thanks to therapists agreeing to offer their services at an immensely discounted rate

•     During our summer programs, we have, on an average, 200 kids per week participating from local

           schools

•     We have baptized many of the kids who visited us and their family members through the years
•     Our ranch provides public services like birthday parties, horse riding lessons, trail rides and weddings
•     Our church is always open to anyone who would like to come and visit

Future Plans to Build H4L Ranch Inc.

In December 2016, we were blessed with a generous donation of 157 acres of land and have since combined the Brookland operations with the ranch in Finch. We are now able to move on to Phase II of our long-term plan titled H4L Ranch Inc.

This working ranch is located in a secluded setting in Finch, AR and it will be developed into a working campus within the next two years. We'll be able to house over 100 children ages 8-18, male and female, in a family-style setting.

Each home will have no more than 8 kids at any given time, who will be cared for by a set of qualified and Christian house parents. At the center of the campus, you'll find our school, recreation facility, common areas, a sanctuary, mess hall, a general store, nurses' offices, as well as our therapists who will be working one-on-one with the children on a daily basis. Our sanctuary is now under construction. The first house is already in place.
